The Trumansburg housing market is rapidly becoming unaffordable. Since 2000 the median home value has gone up nearly 80% while the median household income has only gone a little over 20%. Combined with stagnant wages, the oft-praised “character” of our village and town is at risk of becoming excessively wealthy, while our teachers and service workers are priced out.
